Meremere fatal house fire release 3

The name of a man killed in a house fire in Meremere early yesterday morning has been released.

He was Larren Nicholas JOSEPH, 38, of Meremere.

Mr JOSEPH'S 12-year-old daughter was rescued by fire fighters and suffered serious injuries from the fire, she is currently in a stable condition in Auckland's Middlemoore Hospital.

A post-mortem is currently underway in Auckland to determine the cause of Mr JOSEPH'S death, the investigation into what caused the fire is continuing.
