Suspicious item in Christchurch

Chrsitchurch Police are currently dealing with an incident relating to the report of a suspicious item, on Kilmore Street near the intersection with Manchester Street in the Christchurch CBD area this morning. Cordons have been placed on a number of streets in that area.
Police will update this media release later with further information and request media patience for more information until that time.
