Dairy robbed in Christchurch
At about 8.30pm on Monday 4 August 2008 two Males have entered the Wainoni Dairy located on the corner of Wainoni Road and Orrick Crescent, Christchurch.
They have presented a large knife at the dairy owner and demanded money.
One of the males has then grabbed the cash register which contained a small amount of cash and they have both run from the shop.
During the robbery the dairy owner has tried to protect himself and it is possible that one of the offenders has suffered a small injury to his face.
Both Males have been described as dark skinned, possibly Maori or Samoan, wearing dark clothing and have had their faces covered with bandanas.
The cash register is described as a large heavy older model manual till coloured grey on top and brown at the bottom. The till has not yet been recovered and may still be in the Wainoni area.
Detective Constable GRANT asks that anyone with any information that can assist in identifying the offenders or the current location of the till contact him at the New Brighton Police Station on 3739160.
