Sudden death - Christchurch

At 2:15pm on Sunday the 17 August 2008 Ambulance and Police were advised that a male had collapsed on the Bridle Path Track about 200 metres from Summit Road.

An Ambulance helicopter flew to the scene. Members of the public assisted the male and did CPR until ambulance staff arrived.

Unfortunately the male died at the scene.

Police would like to thank the members of the public for there assistance and would like to speak to them.
