Rail crossing barrier arms not operating

Police are warning drivers in Upper Hutt to take extra care when crossing the railway lines in Sutherland Ave. The barrier arms have been broken overnight and ontrack are now in attendance to repair them. Until they are repaired there will be no warning signals or bells operating operating at the crossing so please exercise extra care.
