NORTHLAND

At about 23:00 on Tuesday the 26 of August police responded to members of the public hearing gunshots in the Kamo Area.
A Charles Street address was identified and cordoned off where the Northland AOS were deployed.
Police faced a barrage of abuse from intoxicated people at the address making for a difficult investigation.
A 'sawn off' .22 Calibre Rifle was located at the address along with an assortment of live and spent shells.
Two people at the address will face firearm related charges.
One person will face a disorder related charge.
No injuries were sustained from the incident.
Police are considering further charges.
