Serious Crash - State Highway 1 Amberley

Police, Fire and Ambulance are at the scene of a serious vehicle crash on State Highway 1 between Leithfield and Amberley, North Canterbury.

The road is blocked to through traffic, with a detour in place.

Motorists who are travelling in the area are advised that there may be some delay in negotiating the area through the detour.

The detour is signposted.

It is unknown when the road will be reopened.
