BOTANY TOWN CENTRE BRINGS TWO HOT OFFSHORE FASHION RETAILERS TO AUCKLAND, AND SUCCESSFUL LOCAL MATERNITY LINE EGG
One of New Zealand’s largest shopping centres is proving its fashion-forward credentials by opening its doors to the active-wear brand Lorna Jane, the on-trend styles of Witchery and the homegrown maternity brand EGG.
The Lorna Jane and Witchery stores at Botany Town Centre are the first in the Auckland region for both brands, and the EGG store is just the second to open in Auckland.
Lorna Jane New Zealand Director Carlene Reid said the choice of Botany Town Centre as the location for the flagship Auckland store was an easy one: “I love the town centre concept, and I think the centre is a great shopping destination.”
Botany Town Centre Senior Centre Manager Jennifer Manning said her team was delighted that the centre was the first Auckland shopping centre to introduce Lorna Jane and Witchery. “These are high-quality, desirable brands that will appeal to our discerning women customers, and they expand our fashion offering even further. EGG is a fabulous brand for our shoppers who are expectant mothers.
The Lorna Jane range includes active wear, using the best in hi-tech performance fabric, stylish lifestyle designs, fashionable and functional swimwear, and intimates and accessories. The brand caters to the active lifestyles of women and aims to inspire them to lead healthy, energetic and balanced lives.
The Australian fashion brand Witchery is the winner of numerous industry awards including Retailer of the Year, Fashion Brand of the Year, and the Marie Claire Readers Choice Award for Best Australian Fashion Brand.
Similar to the famous Spanish brand Zara, Witchery is aimed at 25 to 45-year-old women and stocks clothes, accessories and shoes at a reasonable price, and with regularly changing styles and a pretty, feminine look.
