Child in stolen vehicle in Lower Hutt

At approximately 8 pm [Friday] a black Subaru Impreza with the registration CZM381 was stolen from outside an address on Hutt Road, Lower Hutt, with a small child still in the back. Possibly the offender was unaware the child was in the car at the time of the theft however at this stage it is possible that the car could have left the area. Police are requesting anyone sighting this vehicle should contact them on 111 immediately.
