Road Closure - Crash Scene in Franklin

A truck v van crash outside the former Aikenhead Sawmill around 3.40am, has caused the road closure around the crash-scene for 2-3 hours.

The male van-driver has been transported to Middlemore Hospital in Status 1 condition.

Diversions wil be at the SH1/SH2 intersection, and SH2/Koheroa Rd., while Police investigate the cause of the crash.
