Serious injury crash near Warkworth

Warkworth police are attending a three vehicle collision on the State Highway One south of Warkworth
One person has serious injuries. Several others have minor injuries.
The incident happened on SH1 by twin stream Road
The road is partially blocked and diversions are in place.
Serious crash investigators are making their way to the scene
Motorists are warned to avoid the area or face delays. State highway 16 between Wellsford and Kaukapapa is available as an alternative route to avoid this area.
There is major congestion in this area
