Serious Assault in Auckland City District, 7:00pm 6 Oct 2008

At approximately 5.40pm this evening there was a serious assault at a residential address in New North Road, Mount Albert, Auckland.
The resident of the address was assaulted and has subsequently been taken to Auckland Hospital. The male victim is in a serious condition with life threatening injuries.
Members of the Criminal Investigation Branch are investigating and have strong lines of enquiry.
