Serious crash - SH7 Greymouth

All of the Emergency Services are currently asttending a seriuous head-on crash between a car and a truck, two minutes west out of Greymouth on State Highway 7, also known as Omoto Road.

Omoto Road has been closed at the crash scene while emregency workers work to free two reportedly trapped motorists.

Omoto Road will remain closed for the time being, possibly for up to several hours.

There will be further media releases updating the status of the road and other information as and when this can be released.
