Public disorder in Palmerston North

Police were called to Ferguson St, Palmerston Nth where approximately 150 youths were out on the street throwing bottles. These people had come from parties at nearby addresses.
The majority of the group appeared to be late teenagers.
15 Police officers attended to dispurse the crowd, several of these officers were wearing protective clothing.
Bottles were thrown strucking attending Police Officers.
There were no arrests and reported injuries.
