Double Fatal in Canterbury

Police are currently attending a fatal crash at Geisha Road which runs along the bank of the Ashley River in Waikuku in North Canterbury.
At 6.00am this morning a local fisherman located a vehicle which appeared to have rolled. A deceased body of a male was located in the vehicle and a short while later Police located the body of another deceased male.
Both males appear to be in their mid to late 20's. and both appeared to have been deceased for some time.
Police have yet to identify the deceased males
No other vehicle appears to be involved at this early stage and police are asking for assistance from any members of the Public who may have seen any vehicular activity in that area from yesterday evening onwards.
This incident is being dealt with by the Rangiora Police and they will make any further releases or comment. (They will be tied up with this for some time so will not immediately be available to media)
