Disorder in Dannevirke

The lone Police Officer at Dannevirke was outnumbered when he attended an out of control party in High Street, Dannevirke.
The partygoers numbered approximately 40.
The Officers patrol car was damaged after being pelted with bottles.
Local bystanders came to the Officers assistance to try and restore order.
Reinforcements were sent from Palmerston North.
