Fatal Accident in Stokes Valley Wellington

Lower Hutt Police are investigating the death of a young child following a collision with a vehicle on 27 October 2008.

The three year old child died from injuries received outside a church in the suburb of Stokes Valley at 3pm.

The Serious Crash Unit has examined the vehicle and the scene, and the driver is being spoken to.

Enquiries are continuing.

It is a tragic accident for all involved.
