Cave rescue successful

Jane Furket was successfully extracted from the Waitomo Caves at 1.30a.m. She will now be airlifted to hospital for medical treatment.
The successful extraction was a result of excellent work by the Cave Rescue Team who spent 10 hours effecting the rescue after having completed a full days work.
