Motor Vehicle crash - Ruawai Northland

 A tanker carrying sulphuric acid has rolled earlier this morning on State Highway 12 Ruawai.

A vehicle contaning equipment capable of removing the chemical from the rolled tanker is currently en route to the scene.

Only minor injuries were sustained. However the State Highway just south of Tokatoka Rd is currently closed, with a road diversion in place at Blong Road onto Tokatoka Road before rejoining SH12.

The road is expected to be closed until about 1.30p.m.
