Fatality - West of Tauranga

Police and other emmergency services were called to an incident involving a tree and Digger in the Western Bay of plenty yesterday.

The scene is a rural business west of Tauranga

A person has died as a result of injuries sustained.

Department of labour has been advised.

Police will be reporting the circumstances to the coroner.

Next of kin is yet to informed and it is unlikely that any further details will be available before business hours wednesday morning.
