The name of the diver missing off the coast of Timaru has been released.
The missing person is Kevin Winston Bailey from Blenheim. Mr Bailey is aged
63 years and is the owner/manager of a Diving shop.
Mr Bailey got into difficulties and became separated from his companions
after diving to wreck of the Holmglen some 22 nautical miles off the coast
off Timaru.
A search has been carried out all day today with no sign of Mr Bailey.
The search operation is being controlled by the RCC in Wellington.
