Attempted Robbery on North Shore
About 1.50p.m on 13 November the Milford Bar and Gaming Lounge was the subject of an attempted robbery.
A Male European in his late 20's to early 30's, of solid to fat build and above average height entered the bar wearing a red top, blue jeans, beanie and red bandanna around the lower part of his face. He was carrying a satchel. He demanded money from the safe and till, pushing the manageress behind the bar. No weapon was seen. He attempted to open the safe when a patron intervened causing the offender to run off. He was pursued to a waiting red four door vehicle near the ASB in the Milford mall car park. Police are seeking any sightings of the offender or vehicle.
