Vehicle Crash - SH 57 Shannon Horowhenua

There has been a vehicle crash between a car and a truck on SH 57 about 1 kilometre north of Shannon.

There is one person trapped in the car and the road is blocked.

Police are asking drivers to avoid the area at the moment to allow emergency services to clear the road.

Diversions are in place from Shannon SH 57 onto the Foxton Shannon Road heading north to Foxton.
