Vehicle Crash in Central District, 9:00am

Emergency services attended a vehicle crash this morning on Mangawhero Road in South Taranaki. A bus rolled and ended up down a bank with 16 children from the Kaponga Primary School on board.
The driver was able to contact police after the crash. No one was seriously injured with only superficial cuts and bruises suffered by some of the occupants.
It is unsure how the bus rolled and investigation into the cause is continuing.
Victim support has sent representatives to the school to help with children and their parents.
