Alert: road - weather conditions in Tasman District, 6:00pm

Motorists travelling anywhere on the West Coast/Nelson/Blenhiem area of the South Island are warned to take extreme care when travelling as a large number of reports of roads flooded and trees/rocks are on many roads throughout this area.

Extreme care required as it is still raining heavily and high tides are still an hour or so away.
