Cyclist injured in Crash in Canterbury District, 2:00pm

At about 10am on Saturday 6th December 2008 a 62 year man participating in the 'Armstrong Prestige Harbour Ride' fell from his bicycle while travelling down Gebbies Pass towards Teddington.

The rider received serious injuries and was taken to hospital by helicopter.

No further release will be made today.
