Missing Child in Auckland City District, 10:00pm 6 Dec 2008

At about 4:30pm this afternoon Jaydin Timms a 4yr old male Maori went missing from his family home in Holbrook Street, Blockhouse Bay.

Family and friends have made and extensive search of the home and area surrounding.

Their search continued during the daylight hours before they contacted the police.

Several police units are presently searching the area.

The police search and rescue squad have been notified.

The 4yr old is described as a slim fair skinned Maori wearing a blue T-shirt and blue jean shorts.

Police are concerned for the boys safety and anyone who may have information that may help locate Jaydin are advised to contact the police immediately.
