Fatal accident at Owhiro Bay Landfill - 12 Dec 2008

Emergency services are currently dealing with an accident at the Landfill at Owhiro Bay in Wellington.

A truck at the landfill has rolled.

The sole male occupant of this truck has died at the scene.

The cause of the accident is not known and this will be investigated with OSH (Dept of Labour).

No further details will be released until next of kin have been advised.
