Just as businesses are looking for ways to cut their expenses, a Christchurch company has devised a revolutionary new system to slash the time and money it takes to fulfill their printing needs.

Patch Systems has combined online tools and software to establish Patch Pro. It is a simple system that is proving popular among users.

“It means businesses can get online, fill out their design and printing requirements, and have multiple quotes returned to them,” says Patch Systems Managing Director, Nigel Matthews.

“The entire process from quoting to receiving proofs to delivery of the final product is done online with the push of a few buttons.”

Patch Pro clients have reported an average saving of 65 percent in the time they dedicate to printing and more than 10 percent in costs.

“In this tough economic environment, it allows business people to get on with their core duties, without using up large chunks of their time to organise printing,” says Mr Matthews.

“This usually means gathering three quotes manually and numerous meetings throughout the process. Businesses don’t need this hassle or the added cost of a print broker.”

Spokesman for Christchurch-based business, The Rock Shop, Ben Knowles has been impressed with the efficiency of the service.

“Auckland staff emailed me for more business cards on Wednesday evening, I ordered and proofed them the next morning, and by Friday afternoon they were delivered to Auckland,” says Mr Knowles.

Similar products to Patch Pro can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to set up and usually restrict the user to a single supplier.

Patch Pro’s base system can be installed for less than $7500 and the client can deal with a number of print companies at once.
