NEW PLYMOUTH

New Plymouth Billboard is being forced to come down because it is related to a Stripclub.

Good Morning! Well a week trip was planned to the lovely and beautiful city of New Plymouth.

Crave Club the New Plymouth StripClub welcomed me in with open arms for their Birthday; which is this Thursday and embraced my R18 XXX Adult Show which is a reflection of my new website www.lisalewisLIVE.com

A Billboard was put up this week for my Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday Show 8pm starts till 5 in the morning (reversal body clock of the majority of civilians).

Accomodation was booked, a service for my V8 for the fun drive down from Hamilton City and bebo, myspace and facebook fans counted down their calendar for their early Christmas.

A phone-call just yesterday (Tuesday) had Craig the owner from CRAVE, Mayfair Lane's Stripclub informed me the New Plymouths BYLAW had ruled out the Billboard MUST come down (this is only after less than a week being erect!).

I personally would have thought the only people with authority to pull down an existing Billboard would be the Advertising Standards of NZ.

I feel the Billboard (as attached) is not offensive - and the message on current Billboards throughout the Country these days is sex sells yet you cannot actually apparently promote Adult Entertainment.

Crave Club has until 5pm today to pull down the Billboard.

Katrina Bunton from the New Plymouth District Council states under the Brothel ByLaw a Commercial Sex Business that the Crave Club is, and as they operate under that Bylaw they cannot have any advertising anywhere except on their Building. They stated all District Councils have different Bylaws and New Plymouth states this is theres. Brothel and Commercial Sex Part 20 of the New Plymouth Bylaw. Bylaw Prostitution Law under the Act. This is under the Bylaw.

Craig from Crave Çlub who beieves their Club is licensed under a Tavern Night Club, but says that the New Plymouth Council has licensed Crave under a Brothel or Commercial Sex Service because the girls offer Lap-Dances. They do [Steve] NOToffer Sex.

We would like to see the legislation that states why the Billboard MUST come down.

We would like to see a change in the Law - as images from other mainstream businesses uses the same method to advertise.

WE ARE IN AN INDUSTRY THAT IS DISCRIMINTED AGAINST AND THIS MUST CHANGE!

Yours Truly,
