Missing person in Canterbury District

Christchurch Police have concerns for the safety of 17 year old Melissa THOMPSON.

She was last seen in the Nursery Road, Phillipstown area at 7:30am on Saturday 20th December 2008. It is unusual for Melissa not to contact her family.

Melissa is of European decent with long brown hair usually tied back in a pony tail. She is 152cm tall and of solid build.

She was last seen wearing a hoodie, black pants with a single red stripe down the sides and pink slippers.

She was carrying a black backpack containing clothing.
