Armed Offender Incident

At approximately 6.15 pm Sunday 12th December 2008 Christchurch Police were called to an address where several people were reported to have threatened the occupant.  

These people were in possession of a firearm at the time.  

They then left the address in a vehicle.

The vehicle was located at an address in Witham Street, Hornby.  

Police put a cordon in the area and the Armed Offenders Squad were used to secure the occupants and building.  

Four people are assisting police with their enquiries into this matter.
