WELLINGTON

Wellington CIB is investigating a robbery to the Johnsonville Medical Centre Pharmacy, situated on Moorefield Road, which occurred at 12.20pm on Saturday 3rd January 2009.

Acting Detective Sergeant Andrew Compton said a male European dressed in camouflage style pants and a black hooded sweatshirt entered the pharmacy where he demanded drugs from the safe.

'The male was holding a large knife and made threats to the employees, and it is fortunate that they were not hurt.'Acting Detective Sergeant Compton said.

Acting Detective Sergeant Andrew COMPTON said the male took several packets of morphine tablets before running from the pharmacy into Trafalgar Street and leaving in a black 4x4 vehicle.
