Motor vehicle crash in Eastern District, 9:00pm 8 Jan 2009

Emergency services are at the scene of a motor vehicle crash on State Highway 2 near the intersection of State Highway 50 in Takapau. A vehicle has hit a power pole at this location. There are no injuries but State Highway 2 is closed until the power company can remove the wires. There are diversions in place.
