Fatal crash in Mt Albert

At approximately 1045 hrs on Wednesday the 14th of January there was a fatal crash on Allendale Road, Mt Albert near the intersection with Douglas Street.

A north bound Kawasaki motorcycle, has collided with a Volvo car turning from the motorcycles right out of a driveway.

The motorcyclist has died at Auckland Hospital from his injuries. The rider has been named as: Troy Warwick NEILSON, 31 years of age, who resides in Mt Albert.

The Serious Crash Unit are investigating and are calling for any further witnesses who have not yet spoken to Police.
