JBHIFI LAUNCH AT BOTANY TOWN CENTRE IS MUSIC TO ENTERTAINMENT-LOVERS’ EARS

Australia’s fifth-largest retail chain and a popular purveyor of home entertainment goodies will be opening its doors at Botany Town Centre in autumn 2009.

Home entertainment lovers will luxuriate in the choice offered by JBHiFi, where devices ranging from DVDs and CDs to plasma and LCD screens are tantalizingly displayed. The entertainment boffin can set up a full at-home system, from screen to speakers, and establish a comprehensive library of music and movies, all in the one place.

Since starting in Australia in 1975 JBHiFi has established 94 stores and opened its first New Zealand outlet 18 months ago. Botany Town Centre’s new store will be the eighth for JBHiFi in this country, and there’s no stopping, with further expansion planned over the next 12 months.

“We’re excited at the prospect of JBHiFi moving in,” says Senior Centre Manager Jennifer Manning. “Our shoppers love variety and new retailers are always well received, and the timing of the opening, just before winter, is opportune – exactly when people are getting themselves ready to hibernate at home in the evenings.”

The new store will be located on Town Square opening onto Food Express at Botany Town Centre, and shoppers will have plenty of space to peruse the merchandise – it will be one of the largest of JBHiFi’s New Zealand stores.
