Serious Assault in Bay of Plenty District, 4:40am

Rotorua Police were called to an address in Western Heights this morning to a report that a male had been stabbed.

Emergency services attended and a male has been transported to Rotorua Hospital with serious injuries

A police investigation is underway and witnesses are being interviewed.
