Fatal crash near Auckland Harbour Bridge

At about 3.30am on Monday 26th January 2009 a vehicle has crashed on State Highway 1 just prior to the Auckland Harbour Bridge.
As a result the Motorway is closed to south bound traffic.
The sole occupant of this crash has died at the scene.
The Police Serious Crash unit is investigating. There is no further information available at this staage.
