Aircraft (Glider) Crash in Central District, 3:30pm

A glider has crashed at the Waipukurau Aerodrome.
The persons onboard escaped with minor injuries.
The crash has started a grass fire which has spread west to and jumped Hatuma Rd. As a result Hatuma Rd has been closed off at Hatuma Rd & StateHighway Two to allow emergency eservices to deal with the incident.
