Fatal Crash in Central District, 12:15am

Approximately just after midnight the male driver of a car, involved in a crash, has died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

Initial reports are that the vehicle has failed to negotiate a bend and has left the road and collided with a tree.

It is unknown at this stage as to the circumstances of the crash. Further investigations including scene and vehicle examination are to be carried out.

The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
