Two escape Cherokee plane crash with minor injuries

At 1115hrs this morning a Cherokee plane crash on Kaitorete Spit and has caused a fire in the surrounding tussock country.
Two persons on board at the time have escaped with minor injuries.
Fire - Police and Ambulance are attending at the current time
