Power outage affecting traffic lights in Auckland City, 1pm

Power outage in Auckland affecting traffic lights in Auckland City eastern area.
We have been advised that numerous traffic lights are out of action in Auckland city. The areas reported are from Onehunga to Orakei including balmoral and greenlane.
There are too many intersections not working to arrange pointmen to assist.
These traffic light controlled intersections when not working become uncontrolled intersections. The rule that applies is giveway to the right until power is restored.
Motorists are advised to delay their journey in these areas until power is restored or face delays
