Heavy traffic northbound out of Auckland

North bound traffic on State Highway 1 north of Puhoi is experiencing very heavy traffic volumes resulting in significant delays.
Police advise that motorists travelling north from Auckland should consider using State Highway 16 via Helensville to ease congestion and limit any delays.
