Search for missing 25yr old female tramper in Otaki Folks

Central Districts Police Search and Rescue(Manawatu area)are currently involved in a search for a missing Keryn Dixon, a 25 year old female.
Ms Dixon went for a tramp in the area known as Otaki Forks. This is an area just south of Otaki township and is popular with local trampers.
Ms dixon went into the area yesterday and later made contact with a friend on a UHF radio at about 3pm saying that she was lost.
Two Search and Rescue Teams and a helicopter made a search of the area lastnight but were not able to locate her. A further four Search and Rescue Teams with two Police Search and Rescue dogs and a helicopter are back in the area again this morning.
No further radio contact has been made with Ms Dixon since her initial radio contact. She is not an experienced tramper but is well dressed and has food.
