Arrest made in Otara intruder rape

Counties Manukau Police have tonight arrested a 20 year old male in relation to the Intruder Rape which occurred during the early hours of Tuesday morning in Otara.

Detective Sergeant Sharon Price of the Otara CIB said that a dedicated team of detectives worked from information obtained from the Victim and members of the public which lead to the arrest.

The male will appear in the Manukau District Court on Thursday 12th February.
