Heavy Rain Expected - Wellington, Central and Eastern North areas

The Metservice have released a 'Severe Weather Warning' for our area.

This includes widespread heavy rain for central New Zealand and for some areas they say it will be the heaviest rain for the summer and we should prepared for streams and rivers to rise quickly.

Police are asking drivers to drive to the conditions today and watch their following distances, also to use dipped headlights were practical and to be aware of area of surface flooding.
