CHRISTCHURCH

The Hornby Police are investigating an incident where a 32year old male alleges that on the evening of Friday 13 February 2009 he was held against his will and driven around Christchurch by his captor who is known to the victim. The ordeal lasted for about 5 hours and over this time he was continually assaulted and culminated in the captor stabbing the victim in the leg with a knife and abandoning him.
The victim required hospitalization and stitches to the wound in his leg.
The Hornby Police are looking to locate Tasi SELINI and a warrant for his arrest has been issued by the Christchurch District Court in relation to this matter. SELINI is unpredictable, has access to weapons and should not be approached.
Tasi SELINI is a 29 year old Polynesian 177cm tall and medium build.
