Scene examination complete in Waiau

Police have completed scene examination and are still carrying out enquiries with local residents.
There have been a number of possible sightings which have been checked out by the Police working in those areas.
As a result of information from the public the Police will be carrying out a detailed search of a forestry area near Waiau where the suspect Ross Simon FRASER was known to have worked in the past.
A search of the area will be carried out by Specialist Search Teams, including 2 x search dogs.
