Army Exercise within Hawkes bay area 14-22 Feb 09

A training exercise will be conducted in the vacinity of Haumonana,Tukituki river between Moore rd and Black bridge,Bridge Pa aerodrome,Ngatarawa Rd,Roy's Hill and SH50, Dannevirke Hospital(disused) and coastal areas between Cape Turnagain and Waimarama.
The training exercise will involve movement of soldiers on foot and in vehicles,Soldiers will conduct blank firing from automatic weapons and some small explosions may be heard. All ammunition being used is blank/simulation ammunition.
The exersise will end on later than 1600hrs on Sun22 Feb 09.
