Police apprehend dangerous driver at Puhoi

Shortly after 8pm tonight police received several complaints from motorists of a vehicle driving dangerously.

The vehicle drove through the new Johnsons hill Tunnel on the wrong side of the expressway against traffic.
 

No southbound vehicles were hit by this vehicle.
 

A police highway patrol waiting on the north side of the Tunnels stopped this vehicle after a short pursuit lasting less than one minute.
 

The driver will be facing charges of driving whilst forbidden and dangerous driving.
 

Police are relieved that no one was injured by this reckless act.
